ACC's classic 18-hole championship golf course is supported by exceptional practice facilities, including a spacious driving range, short game area with chipping and pitching greens, and a large putting green. The Club hosts a full calendar of member tournaments and events throughout the season, along with a limited number of outside tournaments, most of which are held on Mondays. Looking forward, ACC has begun working with renowned golf course architect Mike Reilly to develop a long-term master plan for the course, ensuring continuous improvement and modern agronomic practices while honoring the Club's classic design and character. The Golf Course Superintendent will oversee all aspects of agronomy and golf course maintenance, ensuring outstanding course conditions and continuous improvement of the property. Reporting directly to the General Manager/COO, the Superintendent will be an integral part of the leadership team and collaborate closely with other department heads to support the Club's overall vision. Responsibilities

Manage daily golf course maintenance and agronomic programs, including greens, fairways, tees, bunkers, and practice facilities. Lead, train, and motivate the golf course maintenance team to achieve high standards and a positive work culture. Oversee irrigation system operation and maintenance, including water management and conservation practices. Plan and execute turf care programs (fertility, pesticide, cultural practices) to maintain optimal playing conditions. Manage equipment upkeep, repairs, and replacement planning. Prepare and manage the agronomy budget with a focus on long-term sustainability and efficiency. Collaborate with the GM/COO and Golf Course Architect on capital improvements and the upcoming master plan. Qualifications

Degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field. CGCS designation highly desired. Current pesticide application certification or ability to obtain promptly. Strong understanding of agronomy and turfgrass best practices, especially in climates similar to or more challenging than Albuquerque's. Demonstrated track record of maintaining and improving course conditions. Excellent irrigation management philosophy and system maintenance knowledge. Strong understanding of soil science and its impact on turf health and playability. Proficiency in managing and maintaining golf course equipment. Detail-focused, self-starter with strong work ethic and initiative. Team-oriented leader with a humble, flexible, and collaborative personality.
