Our Optical Communications segment has evolved from a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. The segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network focuses on optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network focuses on optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their use.
Responsibilities
Part of a team rotation that operates and manages ARMs
Prioritize workflow and ensure equipment uptime is maximized
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform certification procedures for equipment each shift
Communicate to engineering/tech support when issues arise with the equipment
Setup oncoming shift for success
Perform ARM level 1 troubleshooting steps
Be part of a team rotation assigned Level 1 Troubleshooting Tasks
Responsible for shift cleaning of 30, 40, and 50 cells
Follow all cell cleaning checklists to maintain safety and quality
Log cell cleaning in Maximo
Perform troubleshooting steps as outlined in the documentation
Able to escalate issues when problems exceed level one abilities
Support the equipment from a technical standpoint when not assigned as Level 1
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Ability to navigate responsibilities with changing priorities and multiple tasks
Ability to function independently
Must maintain certification and function as Fiber Processing PA
Strong teamwork and leadership skills

Base pay + $1.50
Requirements to Apply
Certified in FPA as a PA
Not on a Level 2 Discipline or above

The range for this position is $22.00 hourly rate - $25.25 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
