Responsibilities
Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks. Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested. Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target. Execute daily tasks assigned by your leader to help achieve goals aligned with business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas. If certified, operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures. Execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed. Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability. Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services available in the total store, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience. Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance. Work in a safe manner; comply with safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible. Support guest services such as backup cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking and packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while maintaining compliance with laws and policies. Work both independently and with a team. Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot. Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes. Remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes. Additional Basics
Accurately handle cash register operations as needed. Climb ladders as required. Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds. Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance. Capable of working in varying temperatures and environments. Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
