Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks. When guests need assistance, engage in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs. Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target. Execute daily tasks assigned by your leader to help achieve goals that align with business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas. Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified. Execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by your leader for all GM areas. Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability. Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience. Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance. Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible. Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking and packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while complying with relevant laws. Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members. Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot. Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes. Capability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes. Physical requirements and schedule
Accurately handle cash register operations as needed. Climb ladders; occasionally lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds without assistance. Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance. Be able to work in varying temperatures and conditions, including during Drive-Up or carryout duties.
