What We Are Looking For
The
Senior Associate Athletic Director Revenue Generation/Sales & Service
will have responsibility for supervising all areas of Baylor University’s ticket operations and sales to include annual giving tied to seating, premium seating sales at McLane Stadium and Foster Pavilion and all marketing/communications plans related to tickets sales across all ticketed sports. This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletics Department's Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Big 12 Conference, the NCAA and other governing bodies. What You Will Need Extensive knowledge of/and ability to build strategic revenue plans around ticket sales and annual giving tied to seating Background and understanding of ticket operations related to inventory, processing, accounting and secondary market approaches Solution-oriented approach with the ability to anticipate needs and stay ahead of the every-changing landscape of college athletics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead, develop and guide staff members to meet unit goals. Self-starter, service-oriented and demonstrated attention to detail; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Skills and experience with fundraising and ticket solutions software. What We Would Like You to Have Master’s degree Seven years of experience working full-time in any combination of ticket sales/operations or fundraising roles at a Division I Intercollegiate athletics program or major professional sports organizations. Experience at a Power 4, Division I Intercollegiate Athletics Program 3 years of management experience. All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. What Will You Do Lead, supervise, and provide vision for the following revenue units within Baylor Athletics: Annual Giving tied to ticketing and parking, Premium Ticket Sales, Outbound Ticket Sales and Ticket Operations. Oversees and sets goals for the ticket sales team and their efforts to maximize fan attendance and revenue at Baylor Athletic events in collaboration with the Athletics Marketing team Sets the vision for the communication and marketing plan for season and single game ticket buyers Oversee the ticket operations team, ensuring a high level of a consistent customer service experience for ticket holders in premium and general areas at all ticketed home and select away events, neutral site and postseason competition Collaborate with the Major Gifts team on donor conversations related to annual giving, ticketing, and stewardship Partner and work alongside with campus leadership on ticketed, revenue generating events to include concerts and other special events Serve as a member of the External Division leadership team. Offer strategic insight in high-level decision making as requested.
