Position Summary OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a
Key Account Manager with proven compressed air systems experience
to drive sales growth and expand market presence. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing a strong sales pipeline, and building lasting relationships within industrial organizations. You'll work cross-functionally with purchasing, maintenance, and engineering teams to provide high-impact solutions using our
industry-leading compressed air technologies .
This role is ideal for a
hunter-style salesperson
with a strong technical background and an existing presence in the compressed air or industrial equipment market. The product you'll represent is a
key strategic priority
with significant growth potential and market disruption opportunities.
What You’ll Do
Manage all aspects of outside sales focused on compressed air systems and related industrial services.
Develop and grow relationships with key decision-makers, including maintenance managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities while expanding wallet share with existing accounts.
Leverage your technical knowledge to evaluate customer compressed air systems and offer tailored solutions.
Collaborate with regional sales representatives to strategically target high-value customer accounts.
Conduct on-site product demonstrations, plant surveys, and system evaluations.
Work closely with OTC Inside Sales, Application Engineers, and factory reps to coordinate support and maximize revenue.
Generate proposals, negotiate pricing, and present value-based solutions that reduce customer operating costs and increase reliability.
Regularly track and report sales activities, forecasts, and results in CRM tools.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or a minimum of 4+ years of industrial B2B sales experience, specifically with compressed air systems (e.g., compressors, dryers, filtration, piping, audits).
Demonstrated success managing sales territory and exceeding growth targets in the compressed air or utility services sector.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical aptitude and understanding of plant utility systems.
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory (up to 50%).
