Overview
As a Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through your store to actively sell our products and providing customers with support and guidance. You'll use your fashion and product knowledge to provide our customers with all the relevant information they need for the best experience. You will also work on garment refill and care, presentation and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working closely with the rest of your store team to deliver an excellent customer experience. A Day in the Life
Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities. Customer Sales & Profit Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and the Omni experience where available, supporting them with direct customer service. Engage with customers to provide excellent service and conversation. Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products in all areas of the store. Promote and sell our products to customers effectively. Actively promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives. Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions. Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team. Fashion & Trend Awareness Keep up to date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands and products, and use your knowledge to share relevant information with customers. Team & Development Retain and share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues. Follow procedures, routines and legal requirements in all areas of the store. Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop and support each other. Participate in onboarding, introductions and trainings relevant for your role and future development. Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and garment care. Operate fitting rooms and checkout areas according to best practices and processes. Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house (including stockrooms). Support with garment presentation, execution and maintain attractive merchandise displays, clear trends and stories according to visual and commercial guidelines. Maintain good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor. Keep in-store omni services and tech tools updated (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.). Support opening and closing of the store. Follow all H&S guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role and responsibilities. Qualifications As a Sales Advisor, you will be passionate about fashion and everything we create in-store. Motivated by delivering a great customer experience. Be communicative, creative and curious, motivated, flexible, decisive and action-oriented. Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Have sales experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment applicable to the role. Experience working with customer service in fashion, retail or other service-related industries.
