Responsibilities

Own a territory of cities, counties, and special districts, generating and advancing sales pipeline Lead executive-level discovery to surface strategic outcomes and qualify criteria Deliver tailored, value-based product demonstrations and quantify business impact Manage complex buying cycles, orchestrating deals across multiple stakeholders Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline hygiene in Salesforce

Qualifications

2-3 years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience; public sector experience is a strong plus Proven track record of exceeding new-business targets in complex deals with formal procurement Mastery of consultative selling and executive communication; familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar methodology Proficiency with sales enablement tools such as Gong, Outreach, Highspot, Salesforce, and Google Workspace Strong business acumen with the ability to build data-driven ROI cases

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI tools for research and messaging Knowledge of public sector procurement processes and compliance Familiarity with deal orchestration across HR, IT, Finance, and Procurement Previous success in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Strong networking skills within local government agencies
