As a Fiscal Analyst the primary responsibility will be to oversee the revenue cycle and financial management for CS; to maximize revenue by timely claim submission and corrective action on unpaid accounts; identification of revenue and denial trends; analyze, audit, and reconcile payer accounts monthly, for accuracy, completeness, and timely submission; and resolve discrepancies related to coding, funding, or other issues. Create complex financial reports, perform compliance and financial analysis, and submit reports for monthly State Medicaid Managed Care Organizations meetings. Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 4 years of experience with medical and/or behavioral health fee billing, accounts receivable, and related DMAS and other federal, state, and local billing standards. Preferences
Experience with governmental medical or behavioral health accounts receivables. Experience in successfully managing complex processes, such as applications for government benefits and determining eligibility. Experience working in a large medical or behavioral health environment. Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR regulations. Knowledge of medical billing procedures, terminology, coding systems (IDC-10, CPT, HCPCS), and insurance billing regulations. Ability to accurately process medical claims and attention to detail. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies to claims. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The positions will work at either the Community Services Woodbridge, or Manassas locations. Special Requirements
Must possess a valid driver's license and pass DMV record check. Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint based National Criminal History Record Check. Not eligible for employment with barrier crime history. Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglect maintained by the Department of Social Services. $65,910.00 to $92,907.75 Benefits
