TeleSolv Consulting has a great opportunity for you to work with the Federal Government as an
Accounting Clerk III . This position is on-site in Keyport, WA, with hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The work is with the Business and Administrative Support Services (BASS) team at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport and involves coordinating with department heads, technical managers, business managers, and government staff. $24.96 per hour Duties and Responsibilities
Handle accounting, budget, payroll, and travel functions by receiving data, verifying accuracy, and coordinating with internal customers for corrections as necessary. Process incoming data within the appropriate system. Monitor data from receipt to final approval. Collect metric data to provide periodic status reports. Perform ongoing training in the use of specialized Navy systems and policies/directives. Provide administrative support for department-specific IT systems and online tools, ensuring data access, integrity, and recovery. Required and Preferred Skills
Minimum Requirements:
Must currently be a U.S. Citizen Active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one (approximately 3 months) Two (2) years of relevant accounting, financial, or bookkeeping experience Experience with Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic navigation tools, conditional formatting, charts/graphs, simple formulas, pivot tables) Experience with online collaboration tools (including SharePoint and Teams), data entry into lists, blogs, and team discussions; ability to modify views of lists and document libraries Preferred Requirements:
Software skills to support this role include: MS Access (data entry, basic navigation), MS Visio (process flows, diagrams, org charts, swim lanes) Experience with Navy ERP About TeleSolv
