Job Summary The Logistics and Sustainment Lead will develop and execute lifecycle logistics strategies for the Navy’s undersea weapons portfolio. Responsibilities include provisioning, sparing, configuration control, integrating new technologies into existing sustainment frameworks, and coordinating across Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), configuration management, and fleet support teams to ensure weapon system availability and readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Develop lifecycle logistics strategies for Navy undersea weapons portfolio.

Provision, spar, and manage configuration control for sustainment frameworks.

Coordinate with ILS, configuration management, and fleet support teams to ensure availability and readiness.

Maintain logistics documentation, technical data packages, and supply chain planning in coordination with NAVSEA and NUWC.

Analyze sustainment processes and provide recommendations to improve readiness with new system introductions.

Required Experience

12–20 years of relevant experience in Navy logistics, ILS, or lifecycle support.

Strong understanding of Navy supply chains, maintenance systems, and configuration management.

Proven ability to work autonomously and execute critical sustainment tasks.

Strong communication and coordination skills with technical, acquisition, and fleet teams.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Active Secret Clearance.

Desired Experience

Experience with NAVSEA, PEO UWS, or NUWC logistics or lifecycle programs.

Background in fielding new technology or integrating systems into existing logistics pipelines.

Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and fleet sustainment operations.

Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive technical data packages and sustainment documentation.

Master’s degree.

Active Top Secret Clearance.

Location Alexandria, VA (potential for hybrid work).

Travel Less than 20%.
