Responsibilities
Administer and maintain MDI applications, hardware, and system configurations
Monitor and troubleshoot data flow issues between biomedical devices and EMRs
Coordinate with technical teams to resolve integration and connectivity problems
Ensure proper testing and validation of new device integrations
Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for MDI systems
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT or a related business, preferably in a healthcare environment
Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree in Business or a related field required; Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred
EPIC Bridges Certification required
Proficient knowledge of the Capsule Bio-Medical Device Integration Engine
Understanding of HL7 Standards and integration methodology and architecture
Preferred Qualifications
4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field preferred
Experience with Epic, Cerner, or other EMR platforms
Knowledge of medical device standards and regulatory compliance
Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar are a plus
Familiarity with file transfer standards (FTP, SFTP)
