Finance Controller

Salary:
$120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the month-end closing process and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy while continuously improving efficiency and preparing account reconciliations. Prepare monthly financial statements and assist in the preparation of a comprehensive financial reporting package with detailed variance analysis. Oversee revenue recognition and cost accrual procedures to ensure financial compliance and transparency. Lead the development of innovative tools and processes to better integrate systems and enhance operational and financial performance. Partner with key teams including sales, marketing, pricing, and inventory to align financial strategies and optimize profitability. Build and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity in reporting. Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in financial management and accounting roles. Strong technical proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Demonstratable experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across various departments. Preferred Qualifications: CPA certification or Master's degree in business or finance. Experience in the technology or manufacturing sectors. Prior experience implementing and optimizing ERP systems. Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing finance teams. Skills: Strategic thinking with a strong analytical mindset. Exceptional numerical proficiency and attention to detail. Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects. Innovative thinking with a drive to challenge and improve existing processes.
