Accounts Payable Associate
role at
Associated Materials Innovations Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager within the Treasury Operations organization, the Accounts Payable Associate engages in a variety of payables and mailroom related activities in support of the invoice payment processes and mail processing needs. The role partners with internal stakeholders and external vendors to lead mailroom activities and serves as the invoice processing lead for a number of vendor accounts. Responsibilities
Lead all mailroom related items, including processing incoming and outgoing mail, mailing checks, and managing expedited delivery needs (e.g., FedEx). Open, sort, and deliver incoming mail to the appropriate person within the business. Assist staff in copying, assembly, and binding of documents produced on digital copiers. Lead reconciliation and invoice processing for a number of vendor accounts; ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and reconcile statements with vendor receivables to ensure on-time payments. Evaluate each assigned vendor account and recommend opportunities to leverage existing systems and automation to streamline invoice processing. Review, verify, and process invoices and expense reports; match purchase orders to invoices and ensure proper authorization. Reconcile vendor statements and coordinate with the vendor’s receivables department; monitor multiple email inboxes and triage inquiries and errors. Attend meetings and act as the department liaison for mailroom vendor information; participate in process improvement initiatives related to mailroom activities and invoice processing. Complete testing in ERP and subsystems for system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations; create and resolve tickets related to vendor invoicing issues. Support ad hoc duties as required, including providing real-time support and maintaining accurate records of mail and shipments. Key Relationships

Fast learner with attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and transition between tasks effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
