Controller
to lead the financial health and future growth of the firm. This is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and understands the unique dynamics of managing law firm finances. The Controller will be responsible for managing and directing the firm’s financial activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Responsibilities include overseeing the accounting department, financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning to support the firm’s growth and success.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
Prepare and present accurate financial reports, statements, and analyses to aid management decision-making and strategy development.
Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support the firm’s objectives and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal regulations, and internal policies. Establish and maintain financial controls and procedures.
Manage the accounting team and provide guidance to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
Experience in financial management, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
Experience working in a law firm is preferred.
