Leasing Consultant Salary:
$20 per hour Explore PROPERTY NAME: http://www.landingatroundrock.com/ We’re looking for a talented leasing consultant who will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. The leasing consultant is also responsible for interacting directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
Interact with prospective and current residents to provide excellent customer service and promote a quality living experience. Generate and handle traffic, qualify prospective residents, lease apartments, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in paperwork and processes. Ensure model apartments are in touring condition and orient prospective and current residents to the property. Process renewal paperwork and ensure documentation is delivered to current residents monthly. Maintain accurate and detailed records of traffic activity in the computer system. Follow up with all prospective residents via phone, mail or email. Convert phone traffic into scheduled appointments for property tours. Inspect apartments prior to move-ins and coordinate move-in/out needs with the maintenance team. Create and maintain confidential resident files, including reviewing move-in paperwork with new residents. Complete weekly leasing reports accurately and in a timely fashion. Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed daily. Assist with ongoing resident relations and respond promptly to requests. Monitor competitive properties and assist with planning and implementing resident activities to increase retention. Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness; alert maintenance to repairs as needed. Assist with processing work order requests and ensure timely completion. Provide clerical support (answering calls, filing, processing invoices) as needed. Comply with company policies, health and safety rules, and applicable laws. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience
High school diploma required. Minimum of one year of previous sales experience preferred. One year of previous residential leasing experience preferred. Skills and Requirements
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience with Yardi Voyager or equivalent system preferred. Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Strong communication and ability to handle confidential matters. Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking). Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
