About the role Skills Required
Greet all guests with a warm, genuine welcome upon arrival
Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately
Answer guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with knowledge and grace
Provide local recommendations, directions, and concierge-style assistance
Process payments, manage reservations, and perform nightly auditing duties as needed
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptlyHandle guest concerns or complaints calmly and professionally, escalating when appropriate
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas
Uphold all hotel policies and procedures, ensuring the security and privacy of our guests
Embody the spirit of Shenandoah Mansions through thoughtful service and consistent reliability
Qualifications
Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient with hotel PMS systems (preferably Opera or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
