Hours:

M-F 8:30am-5pm, rotating Saturdays are required.

Job Responsibilities

Quality & Compliance – Establish quality control procedures for ongoing validation of methods and preparation of SOP documents. Ensure lab audit‑ready status at all times and comply with institutional safety regulations.

Lab Specific Duties – Perform routine patient testing for the Mass Spectrometry Lab, maintain inventory, conduct routine maintenance of instrumentation, and adhere to quality assurance guidelines. Support research and development projects as directed.

Maintenance – Assist with equipment maintenance, inventory management, and safe/quality monitoring checks.

Collaboration – Work collaboratively with peers to achieve goals and promote a positive work environment.

Research – Design and execute daily laboratory experiments, maintain records, collect and analyze data, and apply standard protocols to improve methods.

Tech II Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

0+ years of work experience in a related discipline or equivalent education/experience.

Tech II Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.

At least 1 year of mass spectrometry experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

Tech III Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

4+ years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience.

Tech III Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.

At least 3 years of mass spectrometry experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
