Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lumberton, NC, for an Assistant District Attorney. The Assistant District Attorney will be responsible for prosecuting criminal cases, working closely with law enforcement, preparing legal documents, and representing the state in court proceedings. Additional tasks may include reviewing case files, formulating case strategies, and ensuring compliance with legal standards and policies.
Qualifications
Experience in Criminal Law, Criminal Justice, and handling Legal Issues
Experience with Courts and knowledge of the judicial process
Skills in Law Enforcement and working within the criminal justice system
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a high caseload
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active member of the North Carolina State Bar
