Overview
Job Description: As a Hardware Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance for our automated parts delivery robot to customers and on-site technicians. Your responsibilities include answering support calls, diagnosing hardware and software issues, addressing user concerns regarding operation and environment, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also have the opportunity to evaluate product updates and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance reliability. Creating and updating support documentation, as well as assisting with the repair and maintenance of robotic units used in production and quality assurance testing, will be part of your duties. In addition, you will travel to customer locations to handle physical installations and deliver training to both customers and internal staff on operating the automated parts delivery robot.

Evaluate product updates and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance reliability. Create and update support documentation; assist with repair and maintenance of robotic units used in production and quality assurance testing. Travel to customer locations for physical installations and deliver training to customers and internal staff.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in computer systems, robotics, technical support, or a related technical field Associate’s degree or higher in a technical discipline Excellent communication skills, both in person and by phone Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities Solid mechanical troubleshooting skills Must have a valid driver’s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years
