Overview
Mobile Associate, Store in Store - Retail Sales at T-Mobile. This role is an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. Ambassadors create energy and excitement around products and services, thrive in a high-traffic environment, and excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions.
Job Responsibilities
Proactively engages with a broad range of customers in a highly-traffic retail environment. Use digital tools, communicate effectively, educate customers, and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding. Identify customer needs and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services, recommending wireless solutions and onboarding tools to help customers self-serve and utilize the T-Mobile app.
Complete training on in-store experience, products, processes, and systems; review personal results, current promotions, and updates to remain Customer Ready. Partner with nearby stores to onboard customers. Perform skills practice, knowledge sharing, store operations, and opening/closing procedures, including securing kiosk assets and reporting lost keys or assets.
Maintain a customer-obsessed mindset: be friendly, engaging, and able to build rapport, trust, and loyalty. Follow up with potential customers, capture referrals, manage Be Back processes, and build relationships with new and existing customers. May perform price overrides for certain offers.
Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account setup to device support and account servicing.
Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma/GED (Required)
6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Customer Satisfaction: Passionate advocate who balances customer experience with performance goals
Team Building: Willingness to work with peers and store leaders, sharing best practices
Retail Sales: Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced environment
Licenses and Certifications
At least 18 years of age

Compensation Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, on-the-job training and eligibility for hourly training pay. After promotion to Mobile Expert, eligible for annualized incentive target of $18,000/year (varies by performance and status). All employees eligible for an Annual Stock Grant and competitive total rewards program.
