Key Account Manager - Industrial Refrigeration (Remote)

Danfoss . This is a remote position for someone in the United States or Canada; relocation will not be considered. What You’ll Be Doing

Proactively seek and assess opportunities with OEMs and contractors in the region. Document opportunities in CRM platforms, design and drive account plans, and formalize initiatives executed directly or by a rep organization where applicable. Develop follow-up activities to ensure the success of account plans. Provide high knowledge of refrigeration systems to quote Danfoss industrial refrigeration portfolio for ammonia and CO2 applications. Prepare valve take-off schedules, size valves and components, and provide competitive solutions. Conduct highly competent negotiations with value selling to secure business opportunities. Inquire with end users regarding upcoming expansions or new facilities. Take ownership in conflict resolution to ensure customer satisfaction. Support regional consulting engineers, contractors, or end-users for projects purchased from outside the region. Provide necessary technical training to installers and other training for OEMs and decision-makers to demonstrate value. Actively participate in local Industry Associations and volunteer for positions that increase Danfoss visibility. Travel up to 50%. What We’re Looking For

BA or BS in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) with a business-oriented mindset. Minimum three years of industry-related experience in a sales or supporting sales position in industrial refrigeration. Knowledge of System Controls and Power is a strong plus. In-depth knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration market, including products, major customers, competitors, and equipment suppliers. Proficiency in ERP systems, SAP preferred. Business acumen: ability to quickly assess and understand customer challenges and future needs. Teamwork with internal and external parties such as rep networks. Ability to write reports and present information to internal and external stakeholders. Driving for results with solid organization skills and prioritization. Professional, tenacious, and strong communication skills. Self-motivated and able to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Salary Range: The base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000, with an annual bonus target and a car allowance. Actual salaries vary by location, experience, and performance.
