Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions and concerns quickly and courteously, assist with video gaming needs, inform guests of promotions, and promote loyalty programs; circulate throughout the store to prioritize guests over tasks. Support the shopping environment, visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships that drive sales and repeat business. Process guest purchases and returns accurately using the POS system, issue receipts, and ensure high-quality guest service. Respond to guest comments or questions in person or by phone; escalate issues to the Store Manager when appropriate. Promote GameStop guest benefits, including new title reservations, trade-in programs, and Pro Rewards. Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates on policies and guidelines. Observe associate performance, provide feedback, and address unsatisfactory performance as directed. Provide recognition and feedback to associates; document feedback in the HR system in partnership with the Store Manager. Ensure onboarding and training for associates prior to opening or closing shifts; ensure knowledge of policies, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and ethical responsibilities. Schedule store associates to meet guidelines, supervise staffing for optimal guest service, and manage breaks and meals. Approve payroll, manage time off, and verify hours worked. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per company guidelines; ensure equipment is in proper working order. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders daily. Protect company assets through inventory control and loss prevention; inspect packages at closing as needed and communicate concerns to the Store Manager. Support the team in meeting sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required administrative duties. Perform inventory counts, restock merchandise, and ensure products are represented and organized. Count and reconcile daily transactions in the POS system; handle closeout paperwork and bank deposits per guidelines. Verify shipments for discrepancies, conduct inventories, and report discrepancies to the Store Manager/District Manager. Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls with proper labeling and packing lists. Maintain awareness of safety; report injuries promptly per guidelines. Keep store records/files organized and ensure manuals are up to date. Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager. Adhere to GameStop policies and the Associate Handbook and Code of Standards, Ethics & Conduct. Adhere to opening and closing procedures. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred. At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred. Video game knowledge preferred. Clear verbal and written communication in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and both independently and as part of a team. Meet performance expectations related to attendance, appearance, safety, and workplace respect. Operate POS system and perform basic mathematics and alphabetizing. Complete required paperwork and follow written or diagrammed instructions. Handle flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and some holidays (minimum 3 days/week availability). Remain reliable, trustworthy, and able to handle pressure; be a problem solver. Able to work alone and stand/move for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
