Provide best-in-class guest service: promptly greet guests; respond to guest questions/concerns quickly, effectively, and courteously; assist guests with meeting their video gaming needs; inform guests of special promotions; recommend additional items as appropriate; apply all selling behaviors during every transaction; thank every guest for shopping at GameStop; circulate throughout the store to prioritize guests over tasks. Support the shopping environment, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business. Process guest purchases/returns accurately using the POS system, including making correct changes, bagging merchandise, providing receipts, and ensuring top-notch guest service. Respond to guest comments or questions in person or by phone; escalate customer issues to the Store Manager when appropriate. Promote GameStop\'s guest benefits, such as new title reservations, trade-in, and Pro Rewards programs. Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates in company policies, procedures, practices, and guidelines. Observe associate performance, provide timely feedback, address unsatisfactory performance, and ensure alignment with company and store guest service expectations. Provide recognition and feedback to associates; document performance in the Workday/HR system in partnership with the Store Manager. Ensure onboarding, job training, and compliance training are completed prior to shifts; knowledge of policies, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, financial protocol, and ethical responsibilities. Schedule store associates to follow guidelines; supervise staffing to maintain optimal guest service levels. Approve payroll, manage time off, and verify proper compensation for time worked. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per guidelines; ensure fixtures and equipment are in proper working order. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders daily. Protect company assets through inventory control and loss prevention; communicate concerns to the Store Manager. Support the store team in meeting sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete administrative and operational duties. Conduct stock counts, restock merchandise, and ensure products are represented and organized on the sales floor. Balance and reconcile daily transaction totals; complete closeout paperwork and ensure sufficient cash and change; perform daily bank deposits as required. Verify shipments for discrepancies, conduct inventories, and report discrepancies to management. Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls; ensure proper labeling and packing. Maintain safety awareness; report injuries per company guidelines. Keep store records/files organized and ensure manuals are up to date. Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager. Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures and opening/closing procedures. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred. At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred. Video game knowledge preferred. Clear verbal and written communication and listening skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet objectives. Operate POS system; basic math and alphabetizing skills. Complete required paperwork; follow written, oral, or diagram instructions. Execute financial tasks in accordance with company policy. Flexible schedule, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and some holidays; minimum 3 days/week availability. Handle pressure with problem-solving, reliability, and good judgment. Able to work alone; stand/move for long periods; lift up to 30 lbs; perform physical tasks as needed. Working understanding of military ranks and insignia may apply for stores on military bases.
