Run with daily kitchen ops like you own the place (because you’ll be treated like you do). Lead and mentor a crew of driven kitchen pros. Keep things tight on food safety and cleanliness—no shortcuts here. Collaborate with the Chef Partner to dream up new dishes and menus that actually get guests excited. Keep inventory sharp and ordering on point. Oversee catering prep when big events roll in. Train new team members so they’re confident, skilled, and ready to crush it. Problem-solve on the fly during service—because smooth shifts = happy guests. Qualifications
The skills and confidence to run a kitchen crew. Fine dining experience (bonus points if you’ve worked in Omaha’s top spots). Killer knowledge of food safety standards. Creativity and passion for making dishes that stand out. Ability to stay calm, cool, and collected when the kitchen’s firing on all burners. Strong leadership and the ability to motivate kitchen staff effectively and keep the kitchen staff accountable and working as a team. Bonus if you’ve got catering or dietary department experience under your belt.
