Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Training Specialist to join our team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT) program. The trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to end users across multiple functional areas within Momentum Financials and its integrated systems. The ideal candidate will combine expert knowledge of Momentum functionality, strong instructional delivery skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial system processes in an engaging and accessible way.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver instructor-led and virtual training for Momentum Financials end users and stakeholders, covering core functional modules such as Budget Execution, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Procurement.
Provide training on supporting interfaces and data integrations that connect Momentum with other VA or federal systems.
Collaborate with functional analysts, business process owners, and change management teams to ensure training materials align with system functionality and business processes.
Create and maintain training documentation, including user guides, quick reference materials, job aids, and e-learning content.
Support training environment setup, user access coordination, and scenario development to simulate real-world workflows.
Gather feedback from participants and update materials based on user experience and system enhancements.
Participate in train-the-trainer sessions, user readiness activities, and deployment support for new system releases or interface rollouts.
Assist with post-training user support and reinforce learning through refresher sessions or office hours.
Qualifications
US citizenship is required.
3+ years experience working within Momentum Financials.
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
Strong analytical and written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems.
This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is $63,300-$129,700.
