Overview

Lecturer, College of Nursing – Undergraduate Program. Tenure-ineligible Lecturer. This is a 10-month appointment (August 1 – May 31) with an anticipated distribution of effort ~90% Teaching and Advising and ~10% Service/Professional Development, reviewed annually. Start date expected August 1, 2025, but not later than October 1, 2025. Responsibilities

Provide teaching and academic advising to undergraduate nursing students; support student achievement, retention, progression, and graduation through evidence-based teaching and mentorship. Collaborate with academic advisors, faculty, and student support services to identify students needing support and design targeted interventions. Participate in curriculum development, program evaluation, and continuous program improvement efforts focused on retention and progression. Engage in scholarly activities related to nursing education and student retention; contribute to College initiatives and accreditation-related processes through data collection, analysis, and reporting on student outcomes. Support accreditation activities related to the residency program and College of Nursing. Qualifications

MSN and/or a DNP, EdD or PhD. Unencumbered Kentucky RN license (or eligibility for licensure). Minimum of three years of nursing education experience at the collegiate level. Experience with curriculum development and outcomes-based education; knowledge of best practices in student persistence, success strategies, and adaptive instructional methods. Experience using data and educational technology to support student learning and track academic progress. Additional Requirements

Minimum of two years of related professional clinical practice nursing experience within the last five years. Strong commitment to student-centered teaching and academic advising. Ability to collaborate with diverse learners and support services; willingness to contribute to accreditation and program evaluation processes. Employment Details
