The Sales Associate role is an integral part of the store’s overall success and efficiency, upholding Coach’s Service and Selling Models, creating a positive first impression, and building ongoing customer relationships through a personalized experience. Responsibilities
Uphold Coach’s Service and Selling Models and demonstrate Coach’s Selling and Service expectations at all times. Create a positive first impression and build ongoing customer relationships through a personalized experience and clienteling. Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and communicate current pricing and promotional strategy to customers. Develop personal sales and clienteling strategies in partnership with the management team; drive business through sales strategies and product knowledge. Understand changes in local market and support the execution of local sales strategies and tactics. Cross-sell and encourage add-ons that relate to the customer’s shopping needs; leverage cross-selling skills to build sales. Attend to unique and individual shopping needs of each customer; read cues and tailor approach accordingly. Manage multiple customers simultaneously and follow up consistently to influence/close sales. Foster a team selling environment and promote collaboration with internal and external customers. Leverage Coach’s tools and technology to support relationship building and clienteling efforts. Maintain a calm and professional demeanor and stay adaptable to changing business and store needs. Ensure all daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service or Coach standards; maintain store, backroom, cash wrap, and visual merchandising to Coach standards. Replenish inventory on the sales floor; support store inventory processes and process shipments, stocking shelves, and organizing product. Assist with cash-wrap during purchases, returns, and exchanges; process customer transactions efficiently. Operations
Maintain a clean and tidy selling floor at all times and adhere to applicable retail policies and procedures including POS, Operations, and Asset Protection. Organize functional areas, perform routine cleaning, and maintain visual merchandising standards. Competencies Required

Experience: 1-3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment; knowledge of fashion trends and competition is a plus. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (including iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet), walkie talkie use, and ability to read price and product release sheets. Physical: Ability to work at a fast pace; communicate effectively; maneuver the selling floor, stock room; ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds for shipments. Schedule: Ability to meet Coach Scheduling & Availability Expectations, including flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays with high retail traffic.
