What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
Qualify prospects and set up appointments, passing qualified leads to Account Managers
Establish rapport with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward sales goals
Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead generation efficiency and refine sales techniques
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales
Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with CRM or web-based software programs
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with peers and customers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
Proven leadership ability and qualities demonstrated in previous roles
Ability to execute a vision and manage multiple priorities effectively
