Overview The Loss Prevention Officer creates a safe environment for guests and staff by proactively patrolling the property, responding to incidents, and assisting during emergencies.

Responsibilities

Patrol lobbies, corridors, and public rooms to detect disturbances, thefts, or vandalism.

Warn or eject troublemakers and advise other staff about suspicious persons.

Assist guests with recovery of property when they leave without settling their accounts.

Respond to fires, unsafe conditions, and accidents; file accident reports.

Enter checked rooms of guests suspected of theft to retrieve their personal property.

Support management and enforcement officers during emergency situations.

Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience in security, loss prevention, or a guest‑facing safety role preferred.

Strong verbal communication skills.

Ability to respond swiftly and calmly to emergencies.

Background check required prior to employment.
