SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to assist and support the Model Risk Management (MRM) department in managing the Bank’s Model Risk Management Program. This includes oversight, maintaining policies, procedures, templates, model identification, risk assessment, validation, monitoring, issues tracking, response coordination, and reporting. The role contributes to enhancing and implementing a best-in-class program, including document maintenance, inventory management, model documentation, validation, reviews, issues management, monitoring, and training. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Assist MRM with updating governance documents, model inventory, validation schedules, and vendor selection processes. Monitor and direct quarterly submissions by model owners. Assess and report on model certification completion and exceptions. Proofread validation reports as needed. Assist with Archer Issues Tracking for regulatory, Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, and validation findings. Organize department meetings and maintain an annual calendar. Maintain trackers for activities such as model documentation, monitoring, validations, and reviews. Document and maintain minutes for department and MRMC meetings. Support MRM personnel in gathering risk assessment and reporting data. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Maintain proficiency in bank policies, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations applicable to your work. Complete all assigned compliance training promptly. Demonstrate passion for risk management and contribute ideas to mitigate risks, improve efficiency, and achieve excellence. Communicate professionally (verbal and written) with all management levels. Be organized and proactive. Possess strong interpersonal skills. Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and coordinate multiple projects. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Read, analyze, and interpret business and technical materials, including regulations. Write reports, business correspondence, and minutes. Present information clearly and respond to questions effectively. Apply mathematical concepts and common sense to practical situations. Follow instructions accurately and solve problems logically. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, preferably in Model Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, or related banking areas.
