Senior Investment Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Investment Accountant to join their team. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $115,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, analysis, and supporting workpapers Record fund cash activity in a timely and accurate manner Review and reconcile external property financials to Yardi Ensure property acquisitions, dispositions, and refinance transactions are properly recorded Process property-level capital calls and monitor self-escrowed cash balances Requirements Work closely with the Accounting Manager and Fund Controller to produce quarterly fund financial statements and related analysis Assist with fund budgeting, forecasting, and other reporting activities Support internal tax and investor relations teams with financial data and documentation Respond to audit testing requests and ensure timely completion of deliverables Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve reporting accuracy Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred 5+ years of financial accounting experience in real estate investment or 3+ years in public accounting Show strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel intermediate level) and accounting software; Yardi experience is a plus Collaborate effectively across matrixed organizations and demonstrate strong influencing skills Century Group is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
