Assigns ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to hospital inpatient accounts utilizing Epic, the 3M Encoder and Dolbey Computer Assisted Coding programs. Works with Coding leadership, Clinical Documentation Improvement specialists and the Coding Quality team to code and release accounts for the West Florida Division. Resolves chart correction issues daily and works with the team to ensure the Coding Department is within three days of discharge and meeting DNFC goals. Requirements
To succeed, you will need: High School Grad or Equiv Required Technical/Vocational School Required 2+ Work Experience Required Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Required or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) - Cert Required or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Required or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Required Work Environment
