Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a

Security Coordinator 4

for the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports security programs for classified materials and DoD requirements. RELATIONSHIP: 10% travel; CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret; RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: No relocation assistance available. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for maintaining compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and for implementing and enforcing security procedures in accordance with DoD and corporate requirements. What You’ll Get To Do

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following: Support a fast-paced, high-profile program; create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers. Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Conduct security audits. Assist with media issuance, accountability, and destruction. Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers on actions to ensure compliance with the classified security program. Submit, review, and verify Visit Requests through queries to government security databases and systems. Support classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions in accordance with the DoD SAP Security Manuals (DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4) and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other applicable security regulations and requirements. Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures. Maintain access control, including UL-2050 Compliant Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and automated Access Control Systems (ACS). Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications guidance. Assist program managers and professional staff in the interpretation, application, and compliance with program Security Classification Guides (SCG). Position Benefits

Job Qualifications

You’ll Bring These Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years of additional education and/or related experience. Must have US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Computer and desktop Microsoft Office software experience. Must have administrative, security education, inventory, risk management, security compliance, or other security-related experience. Experience working with classified materials. Nice To Have Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manuals. Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs). Experience with SLOPACS, DISS, NISS, Lenel, or related security systems. Organized and time-management oriented; meticulous record-keeping and data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets. Self-starter with minimal supervision. Experience with government compliance inspections. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Salary Primary Level Salary Range: $51,200.00 - $85,400.00. The salary range represents a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as responsibilities, experience, education, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply where applicable.
