The Renewals team focuses on maintaining customer value and business outcomes by renewing subscriptions in collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, and Sales Operations. The role requires fluent German. Responsibilities
Maximize customer retention rates through effective telephony, video, and email communications while minimizing churn and contraction. Execute the renewal process to retain or expand ARR. Evaluate license usage and complete true-up requirements. Understand and align with the customer’s business needs and goals to generate renewal quotes. Ensure renewals close in a timely manner. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success Managers on renewals strategy and plans, leveraging customer analytics and metrics. Liaise with customers to ensure POs and order forms are accurately completed for internal deal approval. Identify opportunities and customer-level risk, coordinating mitigation efforts. Provide renewals coverage for larger, more strategic customers. Contribute to designing best practices and methodologies for the renewals organization. Support larger, more complex opportunities as needed. Requirements
Experience managing a customer relationship in similar roles (e.g., Customer Success Manager, SDR, BDR). Demonstrated progressive experience with B2B software sales. Experience with subscription GTM approaches for customer success management and renewals. Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Motivated, driven, and results-oriented. Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Preferred experience with technical products; experience with DevOps, software development lifecycle, or application development is a plus. Experience driving renewals with predictability and target gross retention rates. Proven ability to lead renewals with high gross retention, predictability, and customer experience. Ability to drive larger, more complex transactions (e.g., contract size, net ARR). Contributes to the improvement of renewals processes, policies, and tools, including mentoring others on the team.
