The Accounts Payable and Procurement Manager is integral to developing strategic sourcing initiatives that ensure the acquisition of high-quality, cost-efficient products and services. This role involves supervising staff, fostering positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and actively contributing to the college's sustainability and diversity goals. The manager ensures all activities are conducted in accordance with college policies and procedures, as well as all relevant federal and state regulations. Responsibilities

Lead and support Accounts Payable and Procurement staff to promote understanding, achieve exceptional service, and ensure timely and accurate payment of vendors in accordance with college policies, tax rules and accounting principles. Work with the AVP Finance to develop and implement the strategic direction of the College's procurement programs and initiatives. Recommend and implement policies and procedures surrounding accounts payable, purchasing and procurement system management and ensure adequate internal controls are in place. Serve as the expert for W-9 and 1099 questions. Supervise tax reporting for IRS Forms 1099-MISC and other regulatory compliance as applicable. Work closely with campus departments and vendors and business contacts to achieve operational efficiencies, drive cost saving opportunities, and to ensure procurement aligns with the college's commitments to anti-racism, diversity, equity and inclusion. Focus on cost reductions, strategic sourcing, discounts, rebate maximization strategies, supplier consolidation and system and process improvement including change management. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting or related field of study from an accredited college or university. A minimum of three years' experience, with experience in supervising accounts payable and/or procurement functions. Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of five years' work experience with hands-on supervision of accounts payable and procurement staff, in both process and professional development, is highly preferred. $66,514 to $81,480 per year What We Offer
