Overview

The Department of Neurology is searching for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Neurology with specialization in Epileptology. The Department provides clinical services to NW Ohio and SE Michigan for all neurological disorders. The mission includes educating students, residents and fellows and developing research programs related to neurological disorders. This is an academic, full-time faculty position requiring a combination of teaching, patient care, research/scholarship, and administrative activities to support the Department of Neurology. Role Details

EEG service – On call for 24 hours daily, 7 days per week, rotation of 1 in 6 IOM reading – Opportunity to read IOM 1-2 days per week General Neurology inpatient service (primary or consult) – 4-8 weeks per year (night call every other night during these weeks) Outpatient clinic – 6-8 half days Resident outpatient continuity clinic staffing – 6-8 days per year Responsibilities

Teaching: participate in educational programs for medical students and residents, including lectures, conferences, postgraduate courses, and mentoring Clinical: participate in neurology practice, inpatient and outpatient clinical services, EEG reading with 8-12 weeks per year, and outpatient clinics 6-8 half days per week when not on service Research/Scholarship: participate in research and scholarly activities with expectation of intramural and extramural grant funding Administration/Service: participate in departmental, college, or teaching hospital committees as reasonably required Minimum Qualifications
