Assistant FOH Manager
to their team. The Assistant FOH Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the dining room and take-out area. They supervise front of house staff and report to the General Manager. The role requires being manager on duty for some shifts, so sound decision-making skills are essential. Responsibilities include: Manage front of house staff including scheduling, training, and supervision. Oversee opening and closing duties, ensuring cleanliness and proper procedures. Assist with daily deposits and cash drawer balancing. Edit menus online, through third-party software, and in-house. Perform weekly bar inventory. Provide excellent customer service and leadership. Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards. Handle guest complaints per guidelines. Collaborate with the General Manager and Kitchen Management for seamless operations. Job requirements: At least 1 year of restaurant experience. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. High standards of personal hygiene and appearance. Ability to stand for several hours. Experience with POS systems preferred.
