Position:
Customer Sales Manager (CSM)
The CSM will own and be responsible for selling and executing across categories, accounting for $64MM in revenue with SpartanNash as a vital member of the Customer Sales Team. The CSM serves as the key stakeholder between Kraft Heinz and our retail partners, leading all selling activities and driving efforts tied to improving our sales, gross margin, and market share. The CSM aims to deliver revenue and share objectives, pursue business strategies for growth, provide category management expertise, and ensure that cross-functional sales value is delivered to the customer through implementation of the sales plan and shelving objectives.
Location: Grand Rapids, MI (or surrounding area).
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Own end-to-end business plans with our retail customers, SpartanNash.
Partner with the customer to build rapport at all levels to understand their business, the marketplace, and drive positive growth.
Achieve New Item Authorization, Distribution goals, and Base Business Objectives: Revenue and Share Growth, Authorizations, Distribution, and Optimal Shelving.
Achieve promotional revenue objectives by tactic, price point, Drive Period, and Selling Event while implementing Kraft Heinz pricing strategies for owned categories.
Collaborate with the Retail Execution Manager on in-store execution for assigned category objectives.
Maintain files and business documentation detailing transactions.
Expected Experience & Required Skills
Proven experience in customer/account management and/or retail sales management for a CPG company.
Experience owning business processes and category management in a complex sales role with a desk of at least $60MM.
Customer-first mentality for effective management and selling to achieve objectives.
Ability to work autonomously within a sales framework to plan, organize, and achieve priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with negotiation and influencing ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proprietary sales systems (e.g., IRI, Spark).
Strong analytical skills; experience using syndicated and/or ambiguous data to develop business plans and influence category objectives.
Willingness to travel 5-10% as needed.
Work Environment & Schedule This position is field-based and requires frequent travel to customer locations, stores, and facilities. It is a salaried, exempt role designed to support customer and internal expectations.
Physical Requirements
Willingness to drive and travel as needed.
Operate a computer and view screens for the majority of the work schedule.

Total Rewards New Hire Base Salary Range: $102,100.00 - $127,600.00
Bonus:
This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
