Quality Front Line Leader, Manufacturing Technology Center
We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) as part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. This role is onsite in North Ft Worth at Bell’s Manufacturing Technology Center. The Front Line Leader (Quality Supervisor) will lead daily quality activities for union-covered employees in a production environment.
Responsibilities
Directly responsible for the productivity of the team and assigned quality objectives.
Evaluate business impact regarding metrics, activity reports, delivery schedules, manpower, etc.
Manage in accordance with the local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Achieve objectives in a matrix work environment and work effectively with multiple functions (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Quality, Engineering, Programs, etc.).
Develop, support, and implement process improvements.
Drive performance, safety, quality of work, manage cost, and manage employee relations.
Skills You Bring

Excellent oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented, data-driven, with a strong sense of urgency.
Effective interpersonal, leadership, communication, and organization skills.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor’s degree required OR at least 5 years of work experience in Quality Assurance and leadership in manufacturing may be considered equivalent to bachelor’s degree.
A minimum of five years directly related Quality experience or a leadership role in manufacturing.
Quality Audit experience and AS9100 knowledge.
Experience managing a unionized workforce is strongly desired.
Experience and/or training in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma required.
Ability to work multiple shifts as needed.
Ability to work weekends as needed.
