What You’ll Do

Learn about the products and services offered by the low voltage distributor, including features, applications, and benefits.

Assist the sales team in prospecting and lead generation, researching potential customers and collecting contact information.

Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to understand the sales process, techniques, and product knowledge.

Support Inside Sales Representatives in conducting product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.

Respond to customer inquiries with information about products, pricing, availability, and delivery options.

Collaborate with the sales team to prepare and submit sales quotations, proposals, and bids.

Assist with order processing, including entering orders, coordinating with operations, and tracking status.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales activities, and communication logs using CRM software.

Shadow experienced sales representatives during customer calls, meetings, and negotiations to learn selling techniques and relationship management.

Stay updated with industry trends, product advancements, and competitor activities to contribute to market intelligence.

What We Are Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or sales is preferred but not required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Passionate about sales and eager to learn in a B2B environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software systems.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and contribute to a positive work culture.

Customer-focused mindset with the ability to address customer needs.

Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a desire to achieve targets.

Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and take on new responsibilities.

Back to Front Career Path SES works with over 400 vendors and offers a wide range of products. The career path begins in the warehouse to understand products and vendors, followed by learning the system and sales processes, and finally mentorship with a seasoned Sales Associate.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment and software such as the ERP system and Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Demands Occasional standing, walking, or sitting; handling objects; reaching; climbing stairs; vision requirements; and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
