Job Overview As a Retail Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, build retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally you may handle products from other companies in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details

Starting pay: $17.87 – $18.50 per hour, based on skills and experience.

Part‑time position with a variable schedule.

Weekly hours: 14–16 per week.

Availability required the week before and after major holidays, including weekends.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day engagement:

Use the Hallmark mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory inside and outside the Hallmark department. Provide feedback, complete surveys, and maintain professional interactions with store personnel.

Holiday support:

Work additional days and extended hours around holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You may be scheduled to work on the actual holiday itself.

Department resets:

Participate in installations, fixture building, and card section resets. Two weeks’ notice will be provided for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.

Team collaboration:

Support other merchandisers as needed in the field organization and field teams.

Physical Requirements This physically demanding job requires consistent push, pull, lift, and carry of cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 30 lb during the workday and up to 50 lb occasionally. You will kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and step ladders as part of the job.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum age 18 years.

English reading, writing, and comprehension abilities.

Capacity to lift and carry up to 30 lb frequently and 50 lb occasionally.

Ability to operate a digital handheld device for document reading and data entry.

Access to Wi‑Fi network and the internet.

Reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores on schedule.
