How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Position: Account Manager Location: Mesa, AZ The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing Airgas business profitably within an assigned sales territory. The role involves meeting and exceeding sales, profitability, and A/R objectives, and selling all Airgas products to customers. Perform duties according to established policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct, policies, regulations, and standards. Develop and implement regional sales and marketing plans. Acquire new and competitive accounts, focusing on product supply agreements. Monitor sales goals and gross profit margins, assessing marketing effectiveness. Serve as a technical resource for customers and regional sales associates. Maintain communication with internal departments regarding customer interactions. Collaborate with branch managers to promote sales and manage customer relationships at retail locations. Travel within the territory to visit customers and prospects. Identify and qualify potential customers, keeping management informed. Interpret customer needs and recommend solutions to increase sales. Research market data to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to meet sales targets. Perform additional duties as assigned. Are you a MATCH? High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred. At least 5 years of outside sales experience. Knowledge of industrial gases, welding supplies, and hardware is desirable. Proven change management skills, including stakeholder engagement. Valid driver's license and personal vehicle with insurance. Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment. Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Team-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement. Basic math skills and proficiency with Word, Excel, SAP, etc. Professional demeanor suitable for a corporate environment. Energetic, self-motivated, with strong customer service orientation. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to interpret business and technical information and prepare reports.
