Overview
Timberline Animal Hospital is hiring in Fort Collins! We are a very fast‑paced, full‑service veterinary hospital with an excellent reputation for building lasting relationships with clients and providing exceptional care to patients.
We are a small animal hospital serving dogs, cats, and a few small mammals offering a wide range of veterinary services from annual vaccines and in‑house diagnostics to advanced dental procedures, soft‑tissue surgery, and hospitalization services.
Position Certified Veterinary Technician
to join our expanding team and help us provide exceptional experiences. You will have access to a peer network of over 5,000 individuals, continuing education allowances, and learning and development programs to support your career goals.
Position Skills
Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms
Laboratory procedures including—but not limited to—hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
Diagnostic imaging and implementation of safety protocols for staff members
Nursing skills including restraining patients and administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring
Proficient in dental prophylaxis
Position Requirements
Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state
Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology
