Position Summary...
Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signage, and inventory management. Manages budgeting, forecasting, and assesses economic trends and community needs. Models, enforces, and guides Associates on customer service approaches to meet customer needs and resolve issues within company standards. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages staff participation. Ensures compliance with company policies and legal regulations by analyzing reports, implementing safety and asset protection measures, and developing performance improvement plans. Provides supervision and development opportunities for Associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition, fostering a workplace of belonging. Maintains high-quality eyewear services by consulting with customers, assisting in product selection, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, and performing minor repairs. Supports company policies and strategic initiatives, building a culture of respect, integrity, and excellence. Promotes a positive work environment and encourages continuous learning and improvement. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of 2+ years of college or relevant work and supervisory experience, and eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice under state laws.
