(USA) Vision Center Manager NL 1

Position Summary... Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and in-stock inventory levels. Manages budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. Models, enforces, and provides guidance to Associates on customer service approaches to ensure customer needs and issues are resolved within company standards. Oversees community outreach programs and ensures compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards. Provides supervision and development opportunities for Associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition. Ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating members/customers, selecting products based on their needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining optical equipment. Upholds the company's open door policy, builds high-performing teams, and promotes a culture of belonging and integrity. Delivers results with a customer-first approach, makes data-driven decisions, and encourages continuous improvement and learning. The hourly wage range is $24.50-$34.50, with additional compensation for performance and location-based pay zones. Minimum Qualifications... Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience including 1 year of optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws. Preferred Qualifications... Supervising Associates.
