Position Summary...

Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining in-stock inventory levels. Responsible for budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. Models, enforces, and provides guidance to Associates on customer/member service approaches to ensure needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within company standards. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages associates to serve as good community members. Ensures compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports, monitoring asset protection and safety controls, overseeing safety and quality reviews, and developing improvement plans. Provides direction on executing company programs and strategic initiatives, and supervises confidentiality of information and records. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition. Ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with customers, educating members, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining optical equipment. Upholds company policies and supports the mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and supporting open communication.
