This position is responsible for maintaining all Broward House owned properties through supervision of technicians, implementing maintenance tasks, responding to work orders, and performing general HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, door hardware, and maintenance duties. Additional responsibilities include: Providing direction and support to facilities staff and interacting effectively with staff and clients. Monitoring, prioritizing, and responding to maintenance help desk requests. Implementing and tracking routine maintenance schedules and suggesting improvements. Monitoring properties regularly as directed by the Facilities Director. Performing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, door hardware, and general maintenance tasks. Completing tasks related to contracted renovations and construction projects. Maintaining inventory of maintenance equipment and supplies. Responding to emergency facility requests. Maintaining professionalism and courtesy with residents, vendors, contractors, and staff. Ensuring properties are safe, orderly, and clean. Adhering to safety standards in compliance with all relevant guidelines. Performing duties during emergencies such as hurricanes. Completing and submitting all maintenance documentation promptly. Handling special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Skills/Requirements High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience. Valid Florida Driver’s License and proof of insurance. Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical and flooring work. HVAC certification preferred. Proficiency with standard power and hand tools. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Ability to read and understand assembly instructions. Important Notes Must pass all drug and background screenings, including a Level 2 federal background check and motor vehicle screening. Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, including rotating holidays. We are an
