$25–$29 per hour Position Overview We are looking for a proactive and highly organized

full-time Facilities Manager

to take full ownership of all five properties - ensuring they are functional, well-maintained, and welcoming, aligned with the mission of our Christian organization. You will manage maintenance, property usage, vendor relationships, vehicles, and the overall strategic upkeep of our facilities. Key Responsibilities Overall Property Stewardship:

Take full ownership of the two commercial and three residential properties - keeping them well-cared-for and mission-aligned. Maintenance & Operations Management:

Lead preventive and reactive maintenance across systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security), interiors, exteriors, and grounds to keep everything in good working order. Volunteer Group Coordination:

Welcome, organize, and oversee volunteer groups serving on facility projects - providing clear direction, support, and ensuring high-quality outcomes. Usage Planning & Scheduling:

Coordinate property usage for residential recovery, ministry programs, events, and office functions - managing calendars, space allocations, and setup/teardown logistics. Vendor & Contractor Oversight:

Source, contract, and manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., landscaping, cleaning, repairs) - ensuring timely execution and cost efficiency. Budgeting & Cost Control:

Develop and oversee the annual facilities budget; monitor and report expenses; recommend and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality. Inventory & Equipment Management:

Maintain organized inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment - ensuring availability, proper storage, and regular audits. Vehicle Maintenance:

Oversee organizational vehicles, including scheduling routine service and coordinating repairs so they remain reliable and ready for use. Safety & Basic Compliance:

Keep simple safety checklists, coordinate inspections as needed, and support tidy, hazard-free spaces without adding unnecessary complexity. Project Management & Strategic Improvements:

Lead periodic facilities projects such as renovations, capital improvements, and special initiatives - managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholders. Collaborate with leadership to prioritize and plan long-term improvements. Team Coordination & Communication:

Serve as the main liaison for property-related needs - communicating clearly with staff, vendors, and residents about issues, scheduling, and work progress. Qualifications Proven experience in multi-site property or facilities management, ideally in commercial and residential settings. Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security). Exceptional organizational, planning, and project management skills. Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and procurement processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across both internal teams and external partners. Ability to be hands-on - troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
