Summary and Purpose The Project Manager is responsible for project planning and management to ensure projects are completed to specification, within established timeframes and budgets. The role requires applying industry experience to improve all aspects of project planning and resource management, while maintaining Schneider’s quality standards and staying current with relevant technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Manage medium to large‑scale projects from award through site acceptance within the project management framework.

Assist in the definition of project scope and goals.

Develop project plans that coordinate resource and budget needs.

Create long‑ and short‑term plans with milestones, deadlines, and resource allocation to ensure customer satisfaction.

Define deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for project staff.

Identify and manage risks and liabilities across multiple projects.

Develop and implement stakeholder management strategies aligned with strategic goals.

Manage deadlines and drive the team to timely completion.

Assign, prioritize, and supervise project tasks; manage communication with stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with customer requirements and business needs; maintain customer satisfaction.

Host regular project team meetings to track progress and address questions or challenges.

Serve as a point of contact for teams to ensure actions are managed.

Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards for scheduled projects.

Maintain all project documentation and ensure effective decision‑making when multiple options exist.

Communicate with business leadership to keep projects aligned with goals.

Perform quality control throughout project development to maintain standards.

Track project performance using KPIs, metrics, tools, and techniques.

Maintain project management processes, tools, and resources; ensure training as needed.

Support other project activities, including R&D projects, as needed.

Professional Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business or related technical field required.

Professional Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.

Experience:

7+ years in a design‑build manufacturing environment as a project manager; packaging machinery industry experience preferred.

Understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods.

Experience analyzing and validating customer requirements to align with goals.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Project, Smartsheet, Dynamics, etc.) and SharePoint.

Skills:

Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively address obstacles.

Strong personal accountability and decision‑making capability.

Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to establish guidelines for others.
